Objective:
An IMRE initiative, the SingSPM 2013 seeks to build on the foundation laid by the preceding SingSPM symposiums to provide a platform for scanning probe microscopy practitioners in Singapore to showcase their latest works in both research and application, and to foster greater interaction in the local community.

The symposium also seeks to update the community with regards to current developments in the field or related applications by inviting speakers from industry and overseas institutions in areas of strategic interest. The 2013 symposium will also for the first time include speakers from conventional electron and optical probe techniques.
